THE SNOW CHILD nominated for Pulitzer Prize

April 24, 2013

Tinder Press is proud to announce that Eowyn Ivey’s THE SNOW CHILD was nominated as a finalist in the 2013 Pulitzer Prize.

The Pulitzer, awarded annually for distinguished fiction by an American author, is generally considered to be the highest accolade in American letters. The judges described THE SNOW CHILD as ‘an enchanting novel about an older homesteading couple who long for the harsh wilderness of Alaska and a feral girl who emerges from the woods to bring them hope’. In 2012, Eowyn was awarded International Author of the Year at the UK’s National Book Awards, and THE SNOW CHILD was selected for Waterstone’s 11 and the Richard and Judy Bookclub.
